After a day of beachcombing or fishing, rinse off in the outdoor shower before retiring to the expansive screened porch. Here, you can indulge in appetizers and happy hour while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
For fishing enthusiasts, the outdoor fish cleaning station is conveniently available for preparing your fresh catch of the day. During cooler months, cozy up next to the gas fireplace for added warmth and ambiance.
Gray Whale promises to make a big splash with your family, providing comfort and convenience for a memorable island getaway. Please note that linens and towels are not provided; contact us to inquire about rental options. Parking is limited to 2 cars for your convenience.
Note: This property requires a $500 refundable security deposit that will be added to your reservation. Refunds are processed 30 days after departure.

Well maintained, tastefully decorated property. Very comfortable for my husband, son-in-law, daughter and grandson to interact for the week. The screened porch was an asset.
Gray Whale 🐋 was a fantastic rental, one of the best we’ve ever had at Ocracoke. We appreciated the comfortable furniture, both inside and on the screen porch. We loved the location, so close to everything. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
