*Formerly Where the Sun Sets*
This charming 1800’s house-one of the oldest homes on Ocracoke-has been renovated to include an updated bathroom, but otherwise retains its original island look and feel. With new owners this year, they have added air ducts to the second floor helping bring AC to the whole house. Bringing some of the old tradition back into the property, the inspiration for the new décor theme has been a duck hunter’s lodge. The waterfront home has its own beach with lounge chairs and firepit, crab pots, clam rakes, screened porch, and a hammock where you can enjoy the best sunsets in Ocracoke. New for this year will also be new appliances! The fully stocked kitchen opens to the living room and dining area. For the colder months, enjoy a warm crackling fire in the wood fireplace (new fire safety screens will be at the property). The master bedroom with a double-sized bed is on the main floor with shared access to the bathroom. Upstairs is bedrooms two and three with a queen bed and twin bed in the second bedroom and two double beds in the third. Enjoy watching the sunset while eating dinner on the screened porch or relax while rocking on one of the many rocking chairs. Experience Ocracoke the way it is meant to be! This property does not provide linens or towels, please inquire about rental options. Parking is limited to 2 cars.
